Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Plexa, a DevVoid product for creating and sharing digital business cards and portfolios. By creating an account or otherwise using Plexa, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Plexa.

1. The service

Plexa lets you build a digital business card and, on eligible plans, a portfolio, and share them via a public link or QR code. Some features are limited to paid plans; current plan details are on our pricing page. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You need an account to create a card or portfolio. Accounts are created and authenticated through Clerk. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for anything that happens under your account. Let us know at aneeshbhat@devvoid.org if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Your content

You own the content you add to your card and portfolio - your name, photos, logo, bio, contact details, and anything else you enter. By adding content and setting a card or portfolio to active/published, you grant Plexa a license to host, store, and display that content publicly to anyone who accesses its link, for as long as it stays active, so we can provide the service you're asking for. You're responsible for having the rights to anything you upload (including photos and logos) and for what you choose to make public - see our Privacy Policy for what "public" means on Plexa.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Plexa to:

  • Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Upload content you don't have the rights to, or that infringes someone else's rights
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, or harmful content
  • Attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the service at scale, or interfere with its normal operation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are billed through Dodo Payments. By subscribing, you authorize us (via Dodo) to charge your chosen payment method for the plan and billing cycle you select. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings, and cancelling stops future renewals. Downgrading or letting a paid plan lapse may deactivate cards or portfolios beyond what your new plan allows, keeping only what your plan permits active.

6. Ending your account

You can delete your account yourself from Settings at any time. Doing so immediately deactivates your account, signs you out, removes your uploaded images from storage, and stops your cards and portfolios from being publicly accessible; if you had an active subscription, we attempt to cancel it. Some associated records - such as CRM lead records, a separate newsletter subscription, or visitor analytics tied to your content - are not automatically removed by this process; see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that does and doesn't cover, and contact us if you want any of that cleaned up manually.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules above.

7. Disclaimers

Plexa is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DevVoid and Plexa are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Plexa is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and continued use of Plexa after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

[Governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed by DevVoid before this document is treated as final/production-ready - this section intentionally has not been filled in with a specific jurisdiction, since that is a business/legal decision, not something derivable from the codebase.]
